Lifestyle | Minimalism at Ivywood Drive
In 2018, I lived in a house in Athens, GA with 5 other women during my junior year of college. We shared a lot of things and, most memorably, a home full of big, curly think hair.
(You would understand why this was the most memorable things when one of us brought home lice and the next month was spent wrapping our heads in saran wrap and laying on the couch until our backs hurt from the hours and hours it took to comb through any one of our heads of hair. Tmi).
One is an artist, one is a teacher, one loves to snow ski, and two were in school for social work. Some of our more beautiful days looked like worship in the living room or getting to make art together.
I took a lot of photos of them that year. This collection was from a design study on minimalism for a new media class and styled in my bedroom. I was interested in playing with shapes and lines, and they were so gracious to me as this came during the first few months I was learning how to adjust a camera. Thanks and cheers to Stephanie, Tara and Melissa. <3
