Europe-inspired textured primary bedroom
When I spent a month in Europe last summer, I kept seeing dusty, muted blush colors repeated - from hotel lobbies, to outdoor showers, to a family home to restaurant nestled in the hills of Paros, Greece.
These weathered, clay-like finishes shattered the ultra-feminine, untouchable quality that pink can have with texture that gave the colors a more interesting story. I wanted to replicate the same rugged, rough-around-the-edges quality in a primary bedroom.

The secrets and the trends in good layered lighting
I recently heard lighting referred to as the “jewels of the home.” Sharing my list current trends in lighting design and a list of lights I’ve invested in since purchasing my condo. Including tips for finding new shades, creating more warmth and buying unique vintage pieces.

A hygge spirit | Nordic cottage fireplace addition
I closed on the condo with a plan to add a fireplace as my biggest homeowner update.
I wanted something that would feel Scandinavian and minimal while still maintaining high end coziness. The rest of the furniture and decor in my living room is pretty modern, so wanted a material that would offset this.
I loved the idea of the pebble tile because it gives adds texture to the room, provides warmth through beige and cream undertones and blends in a different design era to achieve a timeless feel.

Lifestyle | Minimalism at Ivywood Drive
I lived in a house with 5 other women during my junior year of college. We shared a lot of things and, most memorably, a home full of big, curly think hair.
Collection was from a design study on minimalism and styled in my bedroom. Cheers to Tara, Stephanie and Melissa. <3
