When I spent a month in Europe last summer, I kept seeing dusty, muted blush colors repeated - from hotel lobbies, to outdoor showers, to a family home to restaurant nestled in the hills of Paros, Greece.

These weathered, clay-like finishes shattered the ultra-feminine, untouchable quality that pink can have with texture that gave the colors a more interesting story. I wanted to replicate the same rugged, rough-around-the-edges quality in a primary bedroom.

I recently heard lighting referred to as the “jewels of the home.” Sharing my list current trends in lighting design and a list of lights I’ve invested in since purchasing my condo. Including tips for finding new shades, creating more warmth and buying unique vintage pieces.

Recipe for Rosemary + Lavender syrup that can be used in cocktails, lattes or over ice cream. Can be made individually and swapped for herbs like mint, basil and thyme or earl grey tea.

I lived in a house with 5 other women during my junior year of college. We shared a lot of things and, most memorably, a home full of big, curly think hair.
